Add an Additional Mailbox to Outlook

Before you can add an additional mailbox, you will need permissions to access it. Please have the owner of the mailbox contact Computer Services by email to give their approval and also confirm if you should have "Send as..." access.

Once the request is completed:

  • If this is a shared mailbox (usually with a generic name like "Computer Services" or "Registration"), then the mailbox will appear automatically on the left side of your Outlook.
  • If it's a mailbox that belongs to a person then you will have to add it manually, using this procedure.
