How to Disable the Archive Button
The archive button is located right next to the Delete button. If you are "archiving" instead of "deleting" like me, then you can disable the Archive button with a Registry key.

Open the registry
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Options
Add a DWORD entry: DisableOneClickArchive
Set the Value to 1
Close the Registry
