Adding Classic "Attach File" Option to Outlook 365
Outlook for Office 2010 had an option to allow someone to "insert as text" a template or HTML file (like the RRU Christmas card). This feature is not available by default in Outlook 365. With a little effort this option can be available if you need it.
Step-by-step guide
Open Outlook 365
Click on File-> Options and select Quick Access Toolbar on the left hand side
Set the “Choose commands from” dropdown list to: All Commands
Select the Attach File command.
(Make sure you do not select the “Attach File…” command as that is the new menu button.)Press the Add > > button.
Press OK to close the Options dialog and return to Outlook.
Open a new message and click on the drop down list for the Quick Access tool bar and select Attach File so it will be visible on the toolbar
Now when you want to add a attachment as text, open the new message and click on the "Attach File" command from the Quick Access Toolbar at the very top of the message (not the Attach File... Button in the Outlook ribbon).
