TrueView AutoCAD Viewer Installation

Requires permission from a Computer Staff person to install the software.  Please proceed through the steps during normal business hours and give us a call when prompted.  

• Go to O:\Staff\academic and information services\it-services\public\DWG Viewer

• Copy the file onto the desktop

• Double-click the file to run

• Click OK to install in the destination folder

• Click Yes to allow the program to make changes on your computer

• Contact Computer Services at 250-391-2659 for assistance.  We will use C:\ProgramData\TeamViewer\TeamViewerQS.exe to connect and provide the proper authentication.

• When the Autodesk window opens, click on Install on this computer

• Click Accept

• Click Next

• Click Install

• Click Finish

The installation does not automatically associate itself with the DWG file extension, so you might need to manually configure that extension to "always" open with TrueView AutoCAD viewer.
