Important
You must be logged in to add/edit content. Â
If you're adding content, you must have selected Job Detail from the list of page types in the add new content step.
If you're editing content, you must have opened an existing Job Detail page.
A finished Job Detail page looks like this:
***All program areas looking to advertise for an associate faculty member will use this type
Job Title: What job are you advertising Meta description: written by the person making the job posting Program Area: The School or Department posting the job and is linked to the school Short Summary: Lets the reader understand what the school is looking for Reference Number: Allows the school or department give a reference number of their own so they can easily keep track of applicants. Especially important if having multiple postings at once. Components: Schools can use a multiple of components for their posting. In this one they used three Job detail text blocks and an application CTA. Text Block: Allows you to enter the information you want to convey to your reader, for example, program information, what course, etc. they want to be taught, qualifications needed. Application CTA: This attaches the application form to this job and says which department should receive the applications. |
This is what a job detail text block looks like. You can use the section title or you can put that title in the text block and use a heading title in there. Either works. |
CTA: This is what you want to say to have a person apply for the position and get them to hit the apply button. This is also where you select the Application department and link the one job application form. The application department ensures that all applications for this position are sent to the correct department. |
