Adobe CC access to manage apps

Background information

This issue will arise if there is a discrepancy in the Adobe configuration file.

Solution (Mac)

  1. Open "Finder", Select the Local Disk
  2. Navigate to "Library">"Application Support">"Adobe">"OOBE">"Configs"
  3. Drag "ServiceConfig.xml" to the desktop
  4. Open the file on your desktop
  5. Copy and replace "<config><panel><name>AppsPanel</name><visible>true</visible></panel><feature><name>SelfServeInstalls</name><enabled>false</enabled</feature></config>"
  6. Close and save file
  7. Drag and drop into "Library">"Application Support">"Adobe">"OOBE">"Configs"
  8. Sign out of Adobe
  9. Log in

Solution (Win10)

  1. Open "File Explorer", Select the Local Disk "(C:)"
  2. Navigate to "Program Files (x86)">"Common Files">"Adobe">"OOBE">"Configs"
  3. Drag "ServiceConfig.XML" to the desktop
  4. Click "Continue" 
  5. Open the file on your desktop with "Notepad"
  6. Copy and replace "<config><panel><name>AppsPanel</name><visible>true</visible></panel><feature><name>SelfServeInstalls</name><enabled>false</enabled</feature></config>"
  7. Close and save file
  8. Drag and drop into "Program Files (x86)">"Common Files">"Adobe">"OOBE">"Configs"
  9. Click "Continue" 
  10. Sign out of Adobe
  11. Log in
