The application says you need to install a plugin, but the plug in is blocked by group policy.
Instead we recommend you install the VLC player
- Click on the Start Button and then type Store <press enter>. This will start the Microsoft Store
- Search for VLC and choose the application from VidoLan
- Install the application
- When you try to open HEIC files the next time, if prompted choose the VPC app to open
