User upgrade process

After Raiser's Edge has been upgraded, the users' computers should be placed into the AD security group RRU > Computers > SWPackages > Raisers_Edge. After a couple of different synchronizations, an SCCM task sequence will uninstall any existing Raisers Edge and install the current production Raisers Edge.


If there is an issue somewhere and the installation fails, the solution is to uninstall Raiser's Edge and reinstall it from scratch (\\prdvicneo\RaisersEdge).  If the install wants to also install Crystal Reports, allow it to do so.
