Transferring a Survey BEFORE going On Leave (temporary or permanant)

According to SurveyMonkey: "When it comes to the Email Invitation collector, the ability to access the collector is view only I'm afraid. Since contacts are unique to an account, survey owners can make edits to the Email Invitation and Text Message collectors they created. Any shared Email Invitation or Text Message collectors will be View Only. They will, however, be able to create a new Collector for the survey, just not make any edits to an existing collector. People can see the survey results from Email Invitation and Text Message collectors, as long as they have the right permissions for the Analyze Results section."

In English this means that when a survey is shared, only the owner can manipulate a survey.  The people that have been shared the survey can only view and export results after it is closed, otherwise it is read-only.

It is recommended that a survey be transferred to another owner, if someone is going to leave, temporarily or permanently, before the Survey end date. Please see this these steps to transfer a survey.

If the person has NOT transferred a survey BEFORE they left, then only IT can transfer the survey, however they are unable to transfer an individual survey but can only transfer the complete account, which disables the original account.  Alternatively IT can reset the account password (with permissions from the owner or supervisor) which would then allow someone to log into the account to manipulate the survey.
