Welcome, new graduate!
Congratulations on your achievements as you near the completion of your program. As a graduate of Royal Roads, you will become a member of an extraordinary community of more than 35,000 alumni from around the globe. This is no small accomplishment and we recognize the hard work and commitment it took to get you here.
This page contains important information you will need as you prepare to graduate and beyond graduation.
You’ll lose access to these resources after convocation (time sensitive)
You’ll lose access to some resources once you graduate. The following information is time sensitive and related to your convocation date.
14 days after your degree has been conferred (on your convocation date), permissions on your Academic Account will change and you will no longer have access to resources reserved for students active in academic programs.

Office 365 Are you using your RRU Office 365 Subscription? (ie. you use Microsoft Office at home by logging in with your RRU Academic Account) | Your RRU Microsoft Office license will no longer allow you to edit documents that you have stored locally on your own computer, though you can still open them. You will need to purchase a personal subscription to be able to continue to use Microsoft to edit documents. |
Microsoft OneDrive? | You will lose access to any files store on your RRU OneDrive. Any documents stored on your home computer will remain accessible but will no longer sync to the cloud. |

Ongoing access to your student information using MyAdmin
On MyAdmin you will find convenient services such as official transcript requests, statement of grades, application to attend convocation and contact information updates. You can continue to access these services using your Academic Account (username + password) or your original MyAdmin account (personal email address + password).Â
Alumni Library Services
As a member of our alumni community, you are now eligible for the library services for alumni, including an alumni library card which allows you to borrow books from our print collection, either in person or through mail.
The library’s digital resources are limited to current students due to our licensing arrangements; however, there are also other avenues that you can explore for accessing information resources post-graduation. Most public libraries have a suite of online databases that you can access from home once you are set up with an account, and many university databases are available on a walk-in basis. There are also paid for research services, such as Infoaction at the Vancouver Public Library which are affordable for a small business person or contractor. That way, you can also write off the research as a business expense and have an expert researcher do the work for you.
Access to programs through Professional and Continuing Studies (discounts available)
Your Academic Account can be used to access programs, courses, credentials, and micro-credentials through Professional and Continuing Studies. Through our Lifelong Learning Program, PCS offers a discount on select courses to alumni.

Should you encounter any difficulties while saving any information you might like to keep from your student email, Moodle or WebSpace accounts, please don't hesitate to contact us (Computer Services) by phone, email or Online Request Form prior to account expiry date. After the expiry date the Computer Services Helpdesk has no options since your accounts are deleted. Access to some information may be provided by your program associate, but email and other items will be gone and your files will be unrecoverable.
