Computer Account - Staff and Faculty

ll Staff require a Computer Account in order to access RRU Email, the Online Learning/Teaching platform (also called Moodle), files and folders, any RRU computer, printing and the internet.

When your account is created, your CAMP account supervisor will request permissions for you to access various corporate applications as well as give you access to certain protected network file locations or shared email mailboxes. If you require additional permissions, please see your immediate supervisor.

  • Your Computer Account is normally created a few days in advance of your start date.
  • Information regarding your account will be sent to the person identified as your CAMP account supervisor which may or may not be your immediate supervisor. This information will be provided to you on your first day.
  • If you have any difficulties with your account details, please contact us directly via email at computerservices@royalroads.ca.

Request a computer account for a new employee

Note

To help your new employees adjust quickly to their new surroundings, please make sure you request all /wiki/spaces/ITKNOW/pages/5833823they will require for their position when you fill in their CAMP request.

Reminder

It may take a few days for the employee information to be approved by HR before it reaches Computer Services for the account creation process. Therefore, please allow at least a week for the account to be created.
