Moodle - Grading

New to grading in Moodle?

If you're grading an assignment in Moodle and you want to:

grade AND either provide feedback or a feedback file, refer to the online grading section of Grading an Assignment.
quickly grade an assignment without leaving feedback or a feedback file, refer to the online quick grading section of Grading an Assignment.
grade an assessment that does not use an Assignment activity and instead only uses a grade item that appears in the grade book. Contribution/participation is sometimes configured this way. Refer to Grading In The Gradebook.
