Moodle - Recycle bin (staff/faculty)

The Recycle Bin feature allows instructors to restore activities and resources that have been deleted. Activities and resources that have been deleted will stay in the Recycle bin for 72 hours (3 days) before being permanently deleted. Deleted activities and resources take about a minute after deletion to appear in the recycle bin.

To access deleted items, select More at the top of the course and then near the bottom of the menu select Recycle Bin.

Open

The recycle bin will display activities or resources that are available to restore. There's also a Delete all button at the bottom if you'd like to clear the recycle bin.

Select the Restore button next to an item to restore it. The item will immediately be restored but will appear at the bottom of the section it was deleted from so you may need to move it back into position.
