Unable to Sign Out of Webmail
The new Webmail application automatically logs you into Webmail after you have validated it one time. In most cases there is no need to log out of Webmail. However if you need to log out of Webmail you can do so by doing the following:
Firefox :
Go to : webmail.royalroads.ca
Select the lock icon to the left of the URL bar.
Select Clear cookies and site data.
Select OK.
Close Firefox and re-launch.
Â
Chrome :
Go to : webmail.royalroads.ca
Select the lock icon to the left of the URL bar.
Select Site Settings.
Select Clear Data.
Close Chrome and re-launch.
We are in the process of migrating everyone from an on-premises email server to Microsoft Online. A re-direct will automatically be displayed at https://webmail.royalroads.ca when you are migrated. Once you are migrated the new webmail address will be https://outlook.office.com.
I need to use multiple accounts
If the reason you are logging out of Webmail is because you have another account you need to use, then you could use a separate browser for each account and this should allow you to use both accounts without having to switch.
Ie. Use Firefox of RRU webmail and use Chrome for second webmail account
I am logging in on a public computer
You can use the above procedure to log out of Webmail, however if you open Webmail in a private/incognito browsing window, then the account is closed when you close the private window.
In Chrome, click the Customer and Control icon (3 dots top right), and select "open incognito window" then navigate to webmail.royalroads.ca.
In Firefox, click on the hamburger menu (three lines, top right), and select "Open private window", then navigate to webmail.royalroads.ca.
