Zoom: How to sign in

You may sign in to your RRU Zoom user using either RRU email or RRU Single-sign-on (SSO).

Single-sign-on (SSO)

Note that SSO is only available if you activated your RRU Zoom license using an RRU email address.

Browser

Navigate to http://royalroads.zoom.us and select the Sign In button at the top right. If you are prompted to sign in enter your username@royalroads.ca (not your email address) and your RRU password.

Zoom Desktop Client

Select the SSO option as shown below. If you are prompted to sign in enter your username@royalroads.ca (not your email address) and your RRU password.

 

Email Sign-in

Browser

Navigate to zoom.us (not royalroads.zoom.us) and select Sign In at the top right corner. Enter the email address associated with your Zoom user, usually your RRU email address, and use the password that you set that is specific to Zoom (not your RRU password). If you can’t remember your password select the Forgot Password? option to reset your password.

Zoom Desktop Client

Open the desktop client and you should see the sign-in dialog shown below. Enter the email address associated with your Zoom user, usually your RRU email address, and use the password that you set that is specific to Zoom (not your RRU password). If you can’t remember your password select the Forgot? option in the pasword field.

Submit a ticket
