Zoom - PowerPoint Presenter View with a Single Monitor
These instructions will explain how to use presenter view in PowerPoint, allowing you to see the slides notes, while sharing the regular slides in Zoom.
Steps
Open Zoom and join a meeting that you have sharing permission in.
Open your PowerPoint Presentation.
Start your presentation by selecting 'Slideshow' at the top menu and then 'From Beginning' (or just click F5).
Select the three dots at the bottom right and select 'Show presenter view'.
Zoom should pop back on top. If it doesn't, select Alt-tab and select Zoom. With Zoom on top, select the 'Show full meeting window' button.
Next, in Zoom, select 'Share', and under 'Application windows' select your full-screen PowerPoint presentation (not the presenter view).
Use alt-tab to return to the PowerPoint presenter view window.
Continue on with your presentation. Participants will only see the regular slides and their view of the slides will change when you advance the slides in presenter view.
To end the presentation click the Esc button, which will also stop sharing in Zoom.
