Zoom: How to sign in
You may sign in to your RRU Zoom user using either RRU Single-sign-on (SSO) or RRU email.
Single-sign-on (SSO)
Note that SSO is only available if you activated your RRU Zoom license using an RRU email address.
Browser
Navigate to http://royalroads.zoom.us and select the Sign In (SSO) button at the top right.
Next, if prompted to enter a company domain (if not skip this step), enter royalroads into the box and select the Continue button.
You will either be prompted to Sign in or to Pick an account.
If prompted to Sign in, enter your account name and select Next. Your account name is in the format of username@royalroads.ca (this is not your email address). Your username is what you use to login to Moodle and will usually be in the format of jsmith, j1smith, etc. After selecting Next, if you see an error “This username may be incorrect…” please ensure that you have typed it in the correct format and that the username portion is correct.
If prompted to Pick an account, select your account
Next, enter your RRU password, and opt to stay signed in.
Zoom Desktop Client
Select the SSO option as shown below. If you are prompted to sign in enter your username@royalroads.ca (not your email address) and your RRU password.

What’s My RRU Email Address?
If you’re a student you likely have email automatically forwarded from your RRU email address to your personal email address and might not be sure what your RRU email address is. To check what it is, login to RRU Moodle, select the User Profile menu at the top right and select Profile.
On this page, you’ll see your RRU email address.
