Lenovo Dock Manager
The Lenovo Dock Manager software was accidently deployed ahead of schedule to several RRU laptops on Monday May 1st. If your RRU laptop was affected by this deployment you will probably have seen a screen somewhat like this:
This is fine.
In your RRU office, your laptop should be connected to a dock - the device that your laptop uses to talk to your keyboard, mouse, screens, wired network etc.
The software will try to update the firmware of the dock automatically and this may cause some screens to go dark and other issues.
The first thing to try is to unplug and re-plug the dock’s power cable to “reboot” it. That should resolve the problem. If it doesn’t please Submit a Ticket. If you are unable to do that you can use the Contact Form or phone us at 250-391-2659.
