Turn email forwarding on or off (students)

Are you here to update the official personal email address on file in your student record?
If so, please go to MyAdmin.

Effective November 4-6, following migration of your email box to the cloud, you can manage your email forwarding in the new interface.

If you are here to toggle on or off your email forwarding preference, here’s how:

-1- Log into to Outlook on the web (webmail) on a computer browser

*** browsers on your phone will not provide the same functionality

Log into the new URL: https://outlook.office.com/

Use your RRU Login (like bsmith@royalroads.ca) + your usual password.
Do not enter your full email address when logging into Outlook on the web.

-2- Click the gear for Settings

‘On’ looks like this (you’ll need to enter an email address)

If you enable forwarding, a space will open up where you can enter the address where you wish your RRU email to go. Most students will enter the same email address they have on file in their student record but it can be any email address to which you have access.

-5- Click Save

Submit a ticket
To submit a ticket, you will be required to log in using your FULL Royal Roads email address (detailed instructions here)
New! If you do not have a full RRU email address (students not currently in a credit program and/or visitors), you can create a portal account using your personal email address.
