Turn email forwarding on or off (students)
Important information about your personal email address(es) at RRU:Â

We have an official personal email address on file for you. If you need to update your official personal email address, please do so via MyAdmin as you have done in the past.  Should you communicate with the university using a different personal email address, in some cases we might ask you to resend the communication using your RRU email address or the personal email address we have on file for you.  | If you have forwarding on, we are sending your email to a specific address. To change your email forwarding address or to turn it off or on, you’ll use the new webmail interface. While it is most common for students to forward their email to the official email address on file, you have the choice of using a different one.  If you choose to forward your RRU email to a different address than what is on file, and you wish for that to be your new official email address, please ensure that you update it in MyAdmin as well.  |
These instructions are to change your Email forwarding ONLY
If you are here to toggle on or off your email forwarding preference, here’s how:
-1- Log into to Outlook on the web (webmail) on a computer browser
*** browsers on your phone will not provide the same functionality
Log into the new URL: https://outlook.office.com/
Use your RRU Login (like bsmith@royalroads.ca) + your usual password.
Do not enter your full email address when logging into Outlook on the web.
-2- Click the gear for Settings
-3- Click Forwarding
-4- Toggle forwarding on or off

If you enable forwarding, a space will open up where you can enter the address where you wish your RRU email to go. Most students will enter the same email address they have on file in their student record but it can be any email address to which you have access.
-5- Click Save
Don’t forget to log into MyAdmin if you also want/need to update your official personal email address on file.

To submit a ticket, you will be required to log in using your FULL Royal Roads email address (detailed instructions here)
New! If you do not have a full RRU email address (students not currently in a credit program and/or visitors), you can create a portal account using your personal email address.
