RRU Campus Internet Issues

12:30pm, Sept 9th

We have implemented our interim solution to ensure stability for the afternoon.  We will need to enable the primary connection again in order to do troubleshooting with our providers (which will reintroduce the internet issues) but will ensure stability for the Campus Conversation at a minimum and schedule the troubleshooting to minimize issues for the community as best we can.


11:44am, Sept 9th

We are going to move our main internet connection over to our backup connection. This will happen over the noon period.  There might be an addition blip as we perform some technical updates with our network settings.


Since early this morning Sept 9th, there are intermittent problems with the internet connection to the RRU campus causing slowdowns.

We are working with BCNET (our contract is with them) to sort out an interim solution to improve stability until the Rogers issues can be addressed.
