Add new content (add a new page)

To add new content:

1. Log on to the site (https://www.royalroads.ca) using your usual username and password
   
   
2. In the upper left corner, click Content
   
   
   
   
3. Click on the blue Add Content button
   
   
   
   
4. Scroll down until you see the page type you want to create. 
   
   
   
   
5. Click on the page type. We'll work with a topic page type in our examples as that is the most commonly used type of page.
   
   
   
   

Field types

You are almost ready to add content, but first, please sure to read about the different field types.

Components

Each page type has specific requirements and offers you different components to choose from.  Components are the building blocks that make up the content on a page and you'll need to learn about those before you are ready to add a page.
