For viewing HEIC/HEIF files, HEIC Image Viewer can be installed from the Microsoft Store.

Open Microsoft Store
Search for HEIC Image Viewer or use this link: https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9mxhsbjrs7sh
\uD83D\uDCD8 Set as default
Right-click on a HEIC file, select Open with, then select Choose another app
Select HEIC Image Viewer and check Always use this app to open .heic files
If you don’t see HEIC Image Viewer, you should see it listed after expanding the More apps ⬇️ option.
