Office 365 is setup a little differently when it comes to password management since the licenses are owned and managed by Royal Roads.
Change your password?
You may change your password anytime.
- Log into the Office 365 portal at https://portal.office.com/Home
- Click on the sprocket (top left) and select Office 365 Settings
- On the left menu, select Change Password
- Enter your Old Password and your New Password twice and hit Submit
Your new password will be in affect.
Forgotten your password?
If you have forgotten your password, please contact the computer services department via online ticket or email. Students, also please include your student number.
Computer services will reset your password and have it emailed directly to you.
What happens next?
- You will get an email like this one
- The temporary password is valid for 90 days.
- Following the instructions in the email, return to the sign-in page and log in using the temporary password provided.
- Once logged in you will be immediately required to change your password.
- Once you have entered your new password, you will again have full access to Microsoft Office 365
