PCI Compliance Training

In accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and Royal Roads University Credit Card Handling Policy, all staff who handle credit card information must undergo training on credit card handling best practices and the RRU Credit Card Handling Policy.

PCI training is conducted via an on-line Moodle course.  At the end of this course you will:

1. Understand why we train / regulate how credit cards are handled
2. Understand RRU credit card policy & procedures
3. Have learned how to safely and securely process credit card transactions
4. Have learned how to protect a POS device
5. Have learned what to do when there is a problem

The PCI course is only available to those whose position requires that they handle credit card information, or supervise those who do.
