Unfortunately access to Outlook App or desktop software is not supported for students at this time.
Once you have downloaded the application (iOS, Android), please see the instructions below for your appropriate operating systems
Please note that installing the application to access your email may update some settings automatically on your mobile device to ensure the proper security settings are enabled. This can include, but not limited to, ensuring there is a passcode (or biometrics) to unlock the device and that the device locks after 10 minutes or less of inactivity.
Instructions for iOS
Once you have downloaded the app, open it up
You should be brought to the "Add account" wizard right away. You want to enter your RRU office 365 username in the format username@royalroads.ca (ie, d2brown@royalroads.ca)
Click Add account
The screen should now ask you for additional information:
Email address - change it to be your full RRU email address (firstname.lastname@royalroads.ca, don't forget the number if you have one)
Password - Your Academic Account passphrase (same as Moodle)
Submit a Request (You must first enter your full RRU email address (firstname.lastname@royalroads.ca) and then if prompted to log in, enter your shorter username@royalroads.ca and regular password. If you do not have a FULL RRU email address, you may register with your personal email address or use the email contact form below.)
