How can I tell if I'm using an RRU license?

Windows users

Open a Microsoft application like Word, Excel, or PowerPoint

In the upper right corner, you’ll see your avatar or your initials, depending on your setup.

Using a non-RRU licnese

If you see your RRU username and “@royalroads.ca”, you are using an RRU license.

If you see a different username, you’re not using an RRU license.

Mac users

With Outlook open, click on About Outlook in the upper left corner. The resulting window will say "Belongs to:" and show what account owns the software. In the screenshot below, this license “belongs” to d2brown@royalroads.ca. If your “belongs to” contains “@royalroads.ca”, you ARE using an RRU license and you will be affected by the work we’re doing.
