Accessing Outlook Web App

With the migration to Exchange Online, there is a significant change in how you access your email through the web. The webmail address is changing from webmail.royalroads.ca to outlook.office.com. This guide provides detailed steps on how to access the new Outlook Web App, along with an overview of its features and benefits.

New Web URL

The new URL for accessing Outlook Web App is <https://outlook.office.com.> This URL replaces the old webmail address (webmail.royalroads.ca). You will need to update any bookmarks or shortcuts you have created for easy access to your email.

How to Access Outlook Web App

  1. Open Your Web Browser:

    • Open your preferred web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari).

  2. Navigate to the New URL:

    • Type <https://outlook.office.com> into the address bar and press Enter.

  3. Sign In:

    • You will be prompted to sign in with your work or school account. Enter your full email address (e.g., yourname@royalroads.ca) and your password.

  4. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA):

    • If multi-factor authentication (MFA) is enabled, you will be prompted to verify your identity through your chosen MFA method (e.g., mobile app, text message, phone call).
