Rules and Automatic Replies should be configured from webmail to ensure the rules are always running. Rules added to Outlook will only run while you have Outlook open.

Login to webmail.royalroads.ca
From the top-right, select Options → Create an Inbox Rule
Create your rule(s).
Verify none of your rules display “The rule you’ve selected can’t currently be viewed in Outlook Web App. Please use Outlook to view it.”.
Highlight important information in a panel like this one. To edit this panel's color or style, select one of the options in the menu.
