If still there are limited responses after the survey closed, you can re-open the survey to send another reminder only to students who have not fully completed/submitted the survey. If the survey has low responses, consult with your Program Head to determine if re-opening the survey is required.

  1. Select survey in ‘My Surveys’

  2. Click the ‘COLLECT RESPONSES’ tab

  3. Click the ‘CLOSED’ button under Status:

  1. Click ‘open collector’:

  1. The status will now be changed to OPEN

  2. Now you can change the close date. Click on ‘Email Invitation 1’ next to the OPEN status:

  1. Click the ‘OPTIONS’ tab

  1. Click ‘Show advanced options’ and change the Cutoff date and time to five days later:

  1. Follow instructions for sending a reminder
    a. Subject Line: Re-opening – Course Number Course Feedback Survey
    b. Body of email:

Dear students,
The participation rate for your recent Course Number course survey is very low – XX%.
I encourage you to complete this survey with constructive comments about your experiences,
thoughts, and ideas. I realize your time is valuable; it should take no more than 5-10 minutes to
complete. Your feedback helps to shape course revisions for the next offering and beyond.
Please complete the evaluation by 11:45 pm on Date.
(INCLUDE LINK TO SURVEY) - if using email, a weblink reminder and not re-opening the email
invitation
Thank you for your time.
