Remove a Name from the Team List in Outlook Calendar

A new Outlook feature adds a "team" calendar folder which lists all the names of the staff that work under a specific supervisor.  This list cannot be adjusted from within Outlook but is controlled by the "manager" field on the Organization tab in Active Directory.  (Active Directory is a tool used by System administrators to manage computer accounts).

For convenience this field in Active Directory is also linked to the name listed in CAMP as the "Camp Account Supervisor".

If you want to remove or add a name to the "Team" calendar for a specific person please do the following:

  • A Camp Administrator needs to find the name of the person in Camp using the search field
  • Once the name is found, Edit the account
  • In the Camp Supervisor Email field enter the email address of the appropriate Supervisor/Manager/Director.  This name does not have to be the actual manager but it needs to be the same name as the others, in order for it to appear in the list.
  • Click Update Account to save the changes

Please note that the changes can take up to 24 hours for the name to appear/disappear from the Team calendar.
