In order to access Teams meeting in Teams VS in Microsoft Edge, you should follow the procedure below:

  1. Open Outlook, complete the MFA authentication.

  2. Open MS Edge browser, login and complete the MFA authentication.

  3. Open MS Teams, complete the MFA authentication.

  4. Leave MS Teams open.

  5. Go back to Outlook to access scheduled MS Teams meeting in calendar tab.

  6. Click Join Microsoft Teams Meeting hyperlink to open the meetings.

  7. It will open the meetings in MS Teams.

If MS Teams hasn’t been MFA authenticated yet, Teams meeting will be opened inside MS Edge browser.

Tip

Always open MS Teams first before clicking “Join Microsoft Teams Meeting” in the Outlook in order to open Teams meeting inside MS Teams.
