Signing document in Adobe Reader DC

  1. Open form in Adobe Reader DC
  2. Select the Tools tab from the top left corner
  3. Click on Fill & Sign icon:
  4. New window will appear, and you will be asked “What do you want to do?” Select the option to “Fill and sign”:
  5. The document will now be in Fill & Sign mode. To add your signature, click on the sign icon at the top of the form, then click on the plus sign (+) to the right of the “Add Signature option”:

  6. From here, select how you would like to enter your signature into the form. You have the option of typing, drawing, or uploading an image file in one of the following supported formats: .pdf, .jpg, .png, .gif, .tiff, .tif, .bmp
  7. Click “Apply” after the signature type is selected to insert your signature into the form

Signing document in Adobe Acrobat

  1. Open form in Adobe Acrobat XI Pro
  2. From top right corner select Fill & Sign tab:
  3. In “Fill & Sign Tools” section, click on the dropdown option to the right of “Place Signature” option and select “Change Saved Signature” to display how you would like your signature to appear in the form
  4. You have several options to create your signature. Select the signature type you would like to use. Note: If you have an image file of your signature in one of the supported formats (.pdf, .jpg, .png, .gif, .tiff, .tif, .bmp), this is where you would upload that file to insert into the form
  5. After the signature type is selected, select “Accept” from bottom right corner
  6. You will then be able to place your signature type in the appropriate form field
