Microsoft OneNote is note taking application designed to make organizing and sharing information easier.

Features :

  • Notes are automatically synchronized between multiple devices, including mobile phone.
  • Archive and search through emails.
  • Create shared notebooks.
  • Screenshots can be directly pasted in using Ctrl + V.
  • Password Protect Sections/Tabs.
  • OCR (Optical Character Recognition) allows you to search for text in images.

Managing Emails :

Using the OneNote button in Outlook you can save complete email chains with all of their pictures and attachments. Emails saved to OneNote are saved "in the cloud" (1Tb storage) instead of creating a large Outlook data file.

  1. Select an email.
    - Hold down the Ctrl key and left click to add individual emails.
    - Hold down Shift to select multiple emails in a row.
    Ctrl key + A to select ALL.

  2. Select the OneNote button.



  3. Choose which tab you would like to save to.
    - Select a tab to import the emails as individual pages.
    - Select a page to import the emails into a single page.



  4. Saved emails will be added as pages under the selected tab.
