Whole forum grading offers a streamlined and efficient way to assess students' participation in online forum discussions. This advanced tool enables the assigning of a single, holistic grade for each student's overall contribution to a discussion forum. Using this feature can promote active involvement in collaborative learning while also encouraging meaningful interaction among students, while making the grading process for online discussions more comprehensive and efficient.

For more information on Whole Forum Grading, and forum grading in general, we recommend watching the following Bits & Bytes session. It starts at 2 minutes in and transitions into Q&A at 17 minutes. Watching the video at 1.5x speed work well.
