Adobe Acrobat suite is not available on Sentinel so if you need to access the software while working from home, you must install it on your local computer.

Step-by-step guide

Verify if you have a license

(If you know you have Adobe Pro DC license, skip to "Download the Adobe Products" below)

  1. Verify that an Adobe Pro DC license is assigned to your account by contacting Computer Services Helpdesk or look it up yourself
    1. Sign into adobe.com/ca using your Royal Roads email address

    3. Select View Account

    4. Under My Plans, Select View Plans

    5. Under Included applications and services, you should see "Acrobat DC Pro". If you do, you are good to go

Download the Adobe DC Pro

You must have a license before you can use this software. Only follow these instructions if you previously had an Adobe license or as part of the new account procedure.  if you do not have an account, please contact Computer Services (using the links at the bottom of this page) to request a license.

Download the Adobe Creative Cloud Installer

  1. Once you know you have a license, head to https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/all/desktop to log in and see all the available products
  2. Click on the appropriate product

  3. The application should prompt you to open the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application
  4. If asked, please log in with your Adobe account again with your "Work or School" Adobe account (RRU email address and unique Adobe password)

  5. The product should then start to install
  6. Once it is done, After the application is installed you can find you the application in the your start menu.  Some applications will also install a desktop icon
  7. Adobe Creative Cloud suite sometimes needs to do an update, just confirm the update
  8. When you open the Creative Cloud suite you will see a list of applications that are available to you.  Select the application you want installed (usually Adobe Acrobat) and install from there.  
  9. You can display the installation process by clicking on the Notification icon (a bell icon) in the top right
  10. You should be good to go.

  1. Navigate to : https://creativecloud.adobe.com
  2. Select Download.Creative Cloud
