Currently Microsoft is investigating a problem with the connection between the iOS native Mail application and email accounts using Microsoft email services like the Royal Roads email server.

One possible solution is to simply re-enter the password following these steps:

Please go into Settings → Apps → Mail → Accounts → click on Royalroads account and you should see a warning to re-enter password.

If that process does not solve the problem, try removing and re-adding the RRU email account following the instructions here.

If neither of those solutions solve the issue, you can use the webmail application by logging into Outlook.office.com

Microsoft’s Status page currently says this about the issue (from https://portal.office.com/servicestatus)

User impact: Users may be unable to access their email using the native mail app on iOS devices.

Current status: We're progressing with our analysis of available data as we isolate the underlying source of users' problems when accessing their email when using the native mail app on iOS devices.
