Word Wizard merge issue

Issue: In the Mail tab in Raiser's Edge - acknowledgement letters don’t process from word wizard. The user gets the blue spinning circle and Raiser's Edge has to be killed.

Resolution: The registry needs to have a new key added on the computer that is not getting the Word Merge document to open

MS Word 2010:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Word\Options

SQLSecurityCheck=dword:00000000

MS Office 365:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Word\Options

SQLSecurityCheck=dword:00000000

Instructions:

1. Start Registry Editor.
   1. Start -> search on "regedit.exe"
   2. Locate and then click the following registry folder:
      1. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\xx.0\Word\Options
   3. If a key for SQLSecurityCheck does not exist:
      1. On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
      2. Under Name, type: SQLSecurityCheck
      3. Double-click SQLSecurityCheck.
      4. In the Value data box, type: 00000000
      5. Click OK.
