The new Webmail application automatically logs you into Webmail after you have validated it one time. In most cases there is no need to log out of Webmail.
We recommend using one browser for "work", one for "RRU" and one for "personal" (if needed) to keep the applications from taking over the webmail site.
However However if you need to log out of Webmail you can do so by doing the following:
Firefox :
Go to : webmail.royalroads.ca
Select the lock icon to the left of the URL bar.
Select Clear cookies and site data.
Select OK.
Close Firefox and re-launch.

Chrome :
Go to : webmail.royalroads.ca
Select the lock icon to the left of the URL bar.
Select Site Settings.
Select Clear Data.
Close Chrome and re-launch.

You can use the above procedure to log out of Webmail, however if you open Webmail in a private/incognito browsing window, then the account is closed when you close the private window.
In Chrome, click the Customer and Control icon (3 dots top right), and select "open incognito window" then navigate to webmail.royalroads.ca.
In Firefox, click on the hamburger menu (three lines, top right), and select "Open private window", then navigate to webmail.royalroads.ca.
