Currently, you cannot update all the personal information viewed through Chef because that information is tied to your identity and because it needs to be updated in several places. We can’t do that automatically right now but we will in the future.
Here’s the interim process for making changes to information you can’t editThe information shown here comes from the resource management system. Some information isn’t editable because individuals don’t have the ability to change things like their position, their hiring manager, etc. but you can change your personal contact information.
Except these fields because they are tied to your identity record. We are working on automating updates to these fields but until that’s done, use the interim process indicated below:
