Step 1. Create an Account
- Navigate to the the Create New Account page. Fill in the required details and select the Create Account button at the bottom.
- It will prompt you to check your email to verifty the account request.
- Navigate to the verification email that was sent to you. Note that your username appears here in the email and you'll need it to login. Select Activate your account at the bottom of the email. The email is sent immediately so if you do not see it check your email spam folder. The subject line of the email is 'New RRU PCS Student Computer Account – ACTIVATION REQUIRED' and it is sent from DoNotReply@royalroads.ca.
- Next, create a password.
- Your account is now verified. Welcome!

- You probably received a link to your course in an email, along with an enrolment key. Go to your email and click on the link to your course.
- Clicking on the link will take you to Moodle where you'll need to log in. Log in to Moodle using your username and password (the username was in the verification email sent to you and the password is the one you set).
- If this is your first time in Moodle you'll see a cloud consent form. Select I accept and then Submit.
- Return Once you're logged into Moodle, return to your email and click on the link to your course again (or search for your course in Moodle under 'Site home' at the top left and select on it).
- Once you've clicked on the course link in your email you should be prompted to enter a self enrolment key for the course, as shown below. Enter your the enrolment key you were provided in the email and then select the Enrol me button. Note that the enrolment key is case sensitive. If you receive an error entering in the enrolment key, ensure that you are typing the enrolment key exactly as you received it and that you are trying to enrol into the correct course.
