What Exactly IS "Zoombombing"?

"Zoombombing" refers to a situation where people drop in to a video conference and create mayhem.  The video conference is usually of a public nature or a private video conference - and this is important - that wasn't properly secured.  The term came out of a number of incidents that occurred (and continue to occur) on the Zoom video conferencing platform.  I do need to stress though that ANY video conferencing platform is susceptible to this form of attack.
