Request a Planner Plan 1 license
If your needs are not met by the basic version of Microsoft Planner, you can request a license for the more advanced Microsoft Planner P1. Visit the software request page and follow instructions to make your request.
Getting started with your P1 license.
To invite people to work in project you’ve created, you’ll need to create a Team. Follow this naming convention:
Name your project teams consistently
The team name should be made up of three parts:
The part | Example |
---|---|
The business unit | ITS |
An underscore (no dashes) | _ |
A concise functional description | Cyber_Security |
In this example, the team name will be ITS_Cyber_Security.
There must be an underscore after the business unit name. You may or may not wish to use additional underscores depending on if you think they help with readability.
Other examples include:
ITS_CyberSecurity
FIN_Reports
PCS_FutureSkills
PCS_Future_Skills
