Continuing Studies Moodle - How can I change my password?

This document will explain how to change your password on the Continuing Studies Moodle server (https://csonline.royalroads.ca/moodle/) if you are a student using an account you generated yourself using the Create New Account button. If you are an instructor please refer to Computer Account Password.

You cannot change your password from within the Continuing Studies account, however you can set a new password by doing the following:

  • Log out of your Continuing Studies account by clicking on your name at the top right, and choosing Log Out
  • Take note of your username in the username field
  • Click on the Forgotten your username or password? link to the right of the username field
  • Enter your username in the username field
  • An email will be sent to your personal email address with a link in it
  • Click on the link within 30 minutes and you will be prompted to enter a new password.
  • Enter the new password twice and save it and you are done

Now your password is changed.

Submit a ticket
