Add/edit Image call to action component
The image call to action component is found on Landing Page and Basic Page Content Types.
When published, an image call to action looks like this:
The blocks circled above are hyperlinked to where you’d like your audience go to. The hyperlink can take you to another page in the Our People website, or to an external website. The first examples above goes to the external website: https://uwsvi.ca/; while the second example takes you to a contact form: https://rru-sfs.prod.opwebops.dev/contact/human_resources
To make these call to actions be more appealing and stand out, you can add an image to either on the left or right of the text as shown in the above example.
You can make as many image call to actions as you like on a page. When you are creating a landing page or basic page and want to add in an image call to action, you do so in the page content part of the Landing or Basic Page content type by clicking on the arrow next to add child page tiles and the other page content types appear. You can then select add image call to action from the drop down menu. See below what it looks like:
Once you select Add image call to action, you then get the following input screen:
When you’re entering information into the data entry screen for image call to action you’ll see first that there is call to action title, call to action description, a place to insert an image (1200px X 774 px (recommended) with 66px X 430 px (being minimum allowed)), the URL you wish the audience to go to with what you’d like to call that link so someone knows what will happen when they click on it. See below how each of these sections look once produced.
Once you have completed this section that is all you do as there is no individual 'Save' button for a component. Components are saved when you save the page.
