Can I install the EMS 2020 (desktop) Application?

Only people required to administer EMS have permission to install EMS Desktop, which has more functionality than the EMS webapp used by most people. Your supervisor/manager should request that via the provisioning form.

If you have permissions, you can install the EMS 2020 application from the Software Center:

  • Click the Windows start button or Windows Search icon and type SCC

  • You should see a result called Software Center, select it

  • When Software Center opens you will see some tabs on the left.  Select Applications to see the list of software available to you:

  • To install EMS 2020, single left-click on the application and click Install to install

  • After the application is installed you can find the application in your start menu.  Some applications will also install a desktop icon.
