Connect to Eduroam using an iPhone/iPad

Although these instructions are written specifically for an iPhone, similar settings should be available on other mobile devices.  iPad settings should be the same, tho the screens may look different.

  1. Open the Settings App on your iPhone


  2. Open the Wi-Fi menu



  3. Tap the eduroam Network (Not Eduroam with a capital "E")
  4. In the Username field, enter your RRU Academic Account username followed by @royalroads.ca (ie. jsmith@royalroads.ca), then enter your RRU Academic Account password and click OK



  5. Click the Join button
  6. Click the Accept button to allow use of the Royal Roads certificate to secure communications



You're Done!  You should now be successfully connected to the Eduroam wireless network, and should automatically connect anywhere it is available.
