WordPress, an open source content management system. Originally built for blogging, WordPress has since evolved into one of the most popular content management systems (CMS) on the web.
WordPress is quick, flexible, and user-friendly. WordPress provides faculty with the opportunity to integrate customized websites into their courses in a range of ways that support teaching and learning. Possibilities include: faculty research pages, course blogs, individual student e-portfolios and reflective logs, collaborative student projects, and more.
Please note: WebSpace sites have been created only for students enrolled in a specific course or program that uses it. WebSpace sites are not automatically created for all RRU students.
Here are our WordPress instances at RRU:
1. WebSpace - student WordPress sites used in certain courses or program. The instructor will work with their liaison in CTET to have sites created. How to guides | Log in
2. MALAT WebSpace - student WordPress sites for MA in Learning and Technology students. How to guides | Log in
3. MALAT Course Site - course sites for MA in Learning and Technology students.
4. Commons - RRU project sites, COMM330 and MACAL Course Sites.
WebSpace is our main WordPress site for students so there are more how-to guides on it.
To learn more about WordPress, browse our how-to guides on WebSpace as it behaves similarly to our other WordPress instances.
For MALAT students, additional how-to guides can be found on the MALAT WebSpace pages.
