New Webmail Service At RRU

RRU recently upgraded to a new email server and is in the process of moving mailboxes from the old to the new. You should not notice when your mailbox is moving and there should be no interruption in service during this work.

When the move is complete, you may be asked to restart webmail or the browser may refresh on its own.

Functionality in the new email web client (https://webmail.royalroads.ca) is similar to the existing version but it is more modern and user-friendly, especially on mobile devices.

The interface will change from this:

Tip: To change between mail folders, calendar and contacts, click on the 3x3 grid icon in the upper left:

and make your selection from the menu:

To edit automatic replies (Out of Office messages) and email signatures, from the “gear” icon in the upper right, select Options:

And the choose the setting from the list that appears on the left:

To set an automatic reply for a mailbox that you have access to but is not your primary mailbox, first connect to it using the steps found here:
