Who can print/copy?

RRU students, UVic students, Camosun students, JIBC students, and SD62 students attending courses on the John Horgan Campus.

Staff, faculty, and associate faculty from RRU, UVic, Camosun, JIBC, and SD62 who work on the John Horgan Campus.

Your printer/copier login

All users of the JHC building will be assigned a print account username which is different from the username used to log into services at their home institution. The initial passphrase will be provided and everyone is required to change their password after the first login.

Use this login & passphrase combination to log into a device to release print & copy jobs.

How to print

You need to know your print account username and passphrase for RRU Langford, John Horgan Campus.

Follow these instructions to print.

How to copy

  • Walk up to a printer/copier

  • Enter your JHC Papercut username and passphrase to unlock the machine (or tap your card/fob if you’ve set it up already)

  • choose ‘Copy’

Log into the PaperCut Dashboard using your JHC print account username and passphrase.

Paper & supplies

Should you find that a lab or other student accessible space is low on paper, please let us know:

  • M-F 9:00 -5:30pm: phone 250-391-2659 or send e-mail to computerservices@royalroads.ca

  • Outside these hours: call security at local 2525 and they will assist you.

If an office printer/copier needs supplies, contact the Connection Desk, who will follow established processes to replenish supplies.

To submit a ticket, you will be required to log in using your FULL Royal Roads email address (detailed instructions here)
